Getting Started

1. Grab the agent for your computer: Download MyNest from the download page (Windows, Mac, or Linux) and open it.
2. Get the app on your phone: Install MyNest on your phone or tablet (iPhone, iPad, or Android) and create a free account.

Linking your phone to your computer

1. When you open MyNest Agent on your computer, you'll see an 8-character pairing code and a QR code.
2. In the mobile app, tap Add PC, point your camera at the QR code (or type the letters), and tap confirm.

Pairing codes refresh every few minutes for your security. Always use the code currently visible on your computer's screen.

Quick Troubleshooting

• Computer must stay awake: Your computer needs to be powered on and connected to the internet with MyNest running in the background.
• Need write access or terminal? They are locked by default to protect your machine. Toggle them on under Settings → PC permissions in the app whenever you need them.
• Can't see all hard drives? By default, only your personal user directory is visible. Turn on Share all drives in the app to access secondary drives or external storage.
